Synopsis
During the Warring States era, a half-demon called Inu Yasha attacked a village where the "Shikon Jewel" or the "Jewel of Four Souls" was hidden. He attempted to steal it but was stopped by a priestess named Kikyo who put him into a deep sleep with her purifying arrow. Many years later, a girl named Kagome falls into an old well that transports her to the time 50 years after Inu Yasha was put to sleep. There, she awakens Inu Yasha from the spell. Together with Miroku, Sango, and Shippo, they search for the Shikon Jewel to defeat their greatest enemy, Naraku.
