Well, I usually read them online, but there are some I just have to own.
I pay $9.99 for most of mine, but some are $8.99 and I know that the Death Note books are $7.99. That's without tax though.
I counted a few weeks ago, and I believe that I have over $300 in manga.
Ahahaha, I go to the bookstore about 3 times a month though so I probably have more than that now. I'm a geek; I spend more money on books and manga then I do clothes.

I buy all the books. The "black market" books and the license one or two if they come out. I am mean, Japanese book that has license and I go here to look for the translation. Or I buy the book in Indonesian Language who has been monopoly by only one publisher. Some times they keep the manga and so snobbish because they had all the license. So I had to buy underground books, until the original book being published by the real publisher. Yeah I have three books. One is Piracy one, One in English/Japanese with License, and one if the publisher that has license finally releasing the manga. So yeah...it cost a lot ^___^

Here in the US it's like from $8.99 to $10.99 for a regular volume but of course the big ones cost more. I read a lot of scans though and buy most of my manga used. I just wanna read them not collect them. I sell the ones I've finished reading too.
