I love this manga, the art is very lovely and the story is funny. I love Kei and Akira I first downloaded it from mangatemple and i liked it a lot so i went out to buy the mangas (at my country there're 2 volumes out) thanks for this place that i found this nice manga because i don't like the cover much and i kinda judge by the cover

so its more or less like Kare Kano with better art work?

i really love special a! it is just so hilarious! i love the so called "rivalry" between kei and hikari! she is just so funny.

to say Special A is like Kare Kano is pretty big generalization- Kare Kano is mostly a slice of life like manga Special A is much more light hearted. Plus a big part of Kare Kano has to do with the image of being a good student for attention.

Special A has no such pretenses- no ones pretending to be a model student- the rivalry is in the open and hilareous.

Kare Kano and Special A have very different feelings (both are good in their own ways though)
