Or whatever the heck they're calling the Naruto second series...I have no idea what Shipouden means...or why they are calling the continuation of the manga arc a seperate series...but all that aside at long last the the filler episodes are over!!!

So the first episode (a double long) came out last Thursday- and I finally got to watch it. Anybody else see it. I was a little confused at first because of how it started- a scene about 15 chapters in to the plot of the second half of manga. I was like, what's going on- even though I've been keeping current wit hthe manga I wasn't sure why they did that- unless they figured we better show Sasuke within the first 6 minutes or people are going to ban together and set Tokyo on fire (truthfully the way they drew that out in the manga made me want to punch holes in walls).

Aside from the unexected begining I thought the new opening and ending songs were good- and the animation was nice quality. I hope they can get a good years worth of episodes out befoe they start effing up the series with more fillers.

i watched it after my brother download , before that , the anime was taking so long of time and always take mission , i started not to watch it , but i will prefer naruto : shipouden although i don know why they put it now , hope the plot will be interesting from now on because i didn"t read much about the manga

The first few episodes of Shippuuden really sucked. Although recently it's getting better.

I personally recommend the manga though.

Naruto Shippuuden's a bit dragging..like it really takes a lot of episodes just to finish...plus there are some weeks that there's no new Naruto..I also prefer the manga than the anime at the moment...

But then again the manga isn't done yet. Can't wait!

I also hope they show Kakashi Gaiden in the anime. I think it's a crucial part of Naruto.

I agree with Kenleysama. The story is taking too long...But anyway, as long as it isn't those boring fillers before, well, I guess it's fine. At least, the story is moving..^^
